Ambulance services in Lincolnshire!
Just been reading an article in Market Rasen Mail about a thirteen year old who broke his arm in two places while at school.
It took the ambulance 90 minutes to get there and their response was, “we are sorry we were unable to get the back-up vehicle there earlier, this was due to us having no other vehicles available in the immediate vicinity”.
That’s a pretty poor excuse and an empty apology; they more than likely don’t even care, otherwise something would’ve been done to prevent these situations by now. I think the best way to prevent things like this is to start building ambulance garages in most towns; I mean, what would be the problem with that? They already have police and fire vehicles situated in pretty much every other town, so why not ambulances? Something NEEDS to be done!
